Kindergarten Registration

We will be accepting kindergarten registration in the elementary office beginning July 26th. We ask that parents bring completed shot records, official birth certificate and proof of residency with them to register their child. We have both full day kindergarten and half-day kindergarten options.

Full Day Program - $1800 tuition and $59 textbook rental fee

Student Day -   7:40 am – 2:35 pm
Students will eat lunch at school and bus transportation is provided before and after school.

Half Day Program - $59 textbook rental fee

Student Day -

AM Class  7:40 am – 10:30 am
PM Class 11:50 am – 2:35 pm

Bus transportation is provided only for the morning arrival and afternoon dismissal. Parents must provide for transportation for the morning dismissal and afternoon arrival.

Registration/Book Rental Nights - 2010-11 School Year

Registration and book rental nights will be held on August 4th and 5th from 3:00-7:00 pm. Elementary Registration/Book Rental Night will be held in the elementary school. If you are new to our school, we encourage you to bring shot records, birth certificate and proof of residency with you to registration. At Registration/Book Rental Nights we will be collecting book fees, verifying bus routes and addresses, and will have representatives from our Cafeteria, Parent Teacher Organization, Cub Scouts, and Girl Scouts present.

Kindergarten - $59 Third Grade - $123
First Grade - $120 Fourth Grade - $103
Second Grade - $126 Fifth Grade - $106

Back to School Night - 2010-11 School Year

Back to School Night will be held on August 10th. We will be hosting an Open House from 5:30 – 7:30 pm. During the open house, parents and students may visit their classroom, place their school supplies in their desk and familiarize themselves with the building. Many parents take this time to practice with their children walking from the front door to their new classroom. This helps make the first day of school a bit less traumatic.
 
During the open house we will have teacher presentations in the classroom. During these presentations, teachers will meet with parents to discuss classroom procedures and answer any questions they may have.  During the classroom presentation, students will meet in the gymnasium for a program. The presentations will be held at the following times:

6:00 pm AM and All Day Kindergarten, Grades 3 and 5
6:45 pm PM Kindergarten, Grades 1, 2 and 4

Transportation - 2010-11 School Year

Note: Any request to change afternoon transportation should be made by phone before 1:00 pm or by letter addressed to the teacher. Please include in the letter, the address and phone number of the destination for that day. Each student must carry a bus pass from the office to ride a different bus or to get off their regular bus at a different location.

Car Riders – Arrival 7:40 am
Cars should enter the school grounds at Entrance 3 and proceed around the high school to the east parking lot in front of the elementary school. Cars should line up along the curb in the east parking lot where Elementary staff members will assist students from their cars. The car traffic will exit the school grounds along the same route.

Bus Riders – Arrival 7:40 am
The busses will enter the school grounds at Entrance 1 and drop off the students along the curb in the west parking lot in front of the elementary school. Students may enter door 13 or door 1.

Car Riders – Dismissal 2:35 pm
Car Rider students will be dismissed at door 2. Cars should enter the school grounds at Entrance 3 and proceed around the high school to the east parking lot in front of the elementary school. Cars should display their car rider sign which identifies which students are to be picked up. This sign will be distributed at Back to School Night. Cars should line up along the curb in the east parking lot where Elementary staff members will assist students to their cars. The car traffic will exit the school grounds along the same route.

Bus Riders – Dismissal 2:35 / 2:40 pm
The busses will enter the school grounds at Entrance 1 and pick up the students along the curb in the west parking lot in front of the elementary school. Students may exit through door 13 or door 1. The first wave of busses will pick up at 2:35 pm while the second wave of busses will pick up students at 2:40 pm.

Cafeteria Information - 2010-11 School Year

The daily cost for student lunch is $2.00. Extra milk will cost an additional $.40. Breakfast is available at a cost of $1.20. The cost of a full week of school lunches will be $10. Payment for student lunch accounts may be deposited in the cafeteria money box. The money boxes are located on the wall outside the cafeteria door and outside the office door. Payment should be placed in an envelope with the student's name, grade level and teacher's name.
